Join us in transforming care and outcomes for children with Sickle Cell Disease

You can help transform Sickle Cell Disease Care and Patient Outcomes
Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) is the most common inherited blood disorder and roughly 2000 children are born with it annually. Despite its prevalence, however, less than 70% of SCD patients receive care specific to their disease. Treatment options are also few, and access to the best options are limited for many patients.
Riley Hospital for Children and IU Health offer a comprehensive SCD center to ensure patients receive equitable, timely, and evidence-based care. We are also building initiatives like the H.E.A.L Network to bring together patients and families, health care providers and leaders, and community partners to more quickly improve patient outcomes.
Your contribution will directly support transformative resources that improve care, ease suffering, and change the lives of our SCD patients.
