Smackdown Cancer
$1 Million Reasons to Give

Indy Sprint Car drivers don’t just race for trophies, they rally for hope. Each year, they come together for a day of kickball, costumes, and laughter with kids, including Riley patients, to remind them they’re not defined by cancer, but by courage and joy. From playful games to outrageous outfits, the Smackdown Cancer Kickball Classic is equal parts fun and meaningful, capped off with a live auction and karaoke that keeps the celebration going.
Every dollar raised fuels pediatric cancer research at Riley Hospital for Children through the Herman B Wells Center for Pediatric Research and the Smackdown Cancer Endowment at Riley Children’s Foundation. This research gives children and families something priceless. It gives hope. Since 2013, Smackdown Cancer has raised $647,107, and with the Walther Fund’s $334,107 match, that total now stands at $981,214. This is the year we reach $1 million. That’s 1 Million Reasons to Give. We invite you to be part of this milestone and part of the hope it represents.
